Nairobi Metropolitan Services Director General Mohammed Badi has unveiled a new system that will be used to control bus termini in Nairobi.
Badi made the announcement after a night inspection of the Green Park Terminus on March 15, 2021, accompanied by Kakamega Governor Wycliffe Oparanya and various heads of directorates and contractors.

Matatus will relocate from the Central Business District in phases as the first bus terminus is expected to be ready by January, the Nairobi Metropolitan Services (NMS) has announced.
Engineer Michael Ochieng, the NMS director of transport and public works, yesterday revealed that talks with stakeholders were at an advanced stage and the relocation of Public Service Vehicles (PSVs) was slated for mid-January 2021.
Notably, Desai, Green Park, and Park Road Termini are almost complete and will be the first to be open for use according to the de-congestion plan. ....

Matatus will relocate from the Central Business District in phases as the first bus terminus is expected to be ready by January, the Nairobi Metropolitan Services (NMS) has announced.
Engineer Michael Ochieng, the NMS director of transport and public works, yesterday revealed that talks with stakeholders were at an advanced stage and the relocation of Public Service Vehicles (PSVs) was slated for mid-January 2021.
Notably, Desai, Green Park, and Park Road Termini are almost complete and will be the first to be open for use according to the de-congestion plan.
Ochieng said that in the phased re-opening plan, PSVs plying the Ngong and Langata Road routes, which will terminate at the Green Park terminus, will be the first to be relocated. ....

Already, Green Park, Desai and Park Road Termini are near completion and will be the first to be opened as part of the decongestion strategy.
He explained that the phased reopening will see public service vehicles (PSVs) plying the Ngong and Langata Road routes, which will be terminating at the Green Park terminus, the first to be relocated.
Thereafter, the next step will be relocating matatus and long distance PSVs from Mt Kenya and those from the Thika Superhighway – that have been terminating at Tea room, Accra Road – which will drop and pick passengers at Desai and Park Road termini in Ngara. ....
