LOCK HAVEN Blake Cain, 18, of Mill Hall and an 11-year-old Lock Haven girl were cited for criminal mischief involving vandalism at the Tiger Den playground on April 24, Lock Haven City Police said.
Police said assistance from the public helped identify the two suspects.

Two-vehicle crash
LOCK HAVEN Lock Haven City Police reported a two-vehicle crash that took place on May 6.
According to police, the crash took place at the intersection of East Water Street and North Grove Street in Lock Haven. Police say that Michael Ferraro, 29, of Linden, was traveling west on East Water Street and failed to stop for a red light. Ferraro’s vehicle struck a recycling truck that was traveling North on North Grove Street. That vehicle was being operated by Jarred Dincher, 35, of Linden.
Ferraro was cited for failing to stop at a steady red signal. The crash took place at 9:14 a.m. ....

One vehicle crash
LOCK HAVEN Olive Connelley, 81, of Orviston, was cited following a crash along Bellefonte Avenue on April 30 at 1:42 p.m., Lock Haven City Police said.
Connelley was traveling east on the roadway when she saw traffic stopped. Connelley did not have enough time to react and drove off the roadway, striking a sign at Brite Laundry, police said.

LOCK HAVEN Lock Haven City Police are asking the public for help in finding the individuals who damaged the Tiger Den Playground, and their offering a $500 reward for the information.
The Tiger Den is located at the former Dickey Elementary School and has been a part of Lock Haven since 2005 when a variety of community members and organizations raised funding for its construction.
City police posted images of the damage to the playground on social media and requested information on Saturday morning after it was discovered.
“The Tiger Den Playground was vandalized overnight,” the post reads. “A $500 reward is being offered for information leading (to) the arrest and conviction of the perpetrator(s).” ....
