SAN DIEGO (KGTV) â Confusion and delays continue at the county s vaccine super station. People describe long lines, getting turned away, and some not even being able to schedule appointments.
People like Erica Phung waited for hours. Phung accompanied her 88-year-old grandmother for her appointment on Tuesday. After roughly two hours of waiting, the pair went back home because the super station was almost closing.
Two hours in the car with my grandma feeling totally exhausted - we just couldnât wait any longer, explains Phung. ....

SAN DIEGO The County of San Diego Monday expanded who is eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine to include those aged 75 and up.
The expansion is due to a slowing of appointments at COVID-19 vaccination sites, according to a press release from the County of San Diego.
“We took this action today to add individuals 75 years of age and older because they are at the greatest risk,” said Wilma J. Wooten, M.D., M.P.H., County public health officer. “It remains our intention to expand vaccines to those 65 and older the week of January 25, contingent of vaccine availability.” ....
