Matt Tuerk leads 4-way race for Allentown mayor nomination (UPDATE)

Allentown and regional economic development coordinator Matt Tuerk was leading the four-way race for the Democratic nomination for city mayor, according to unofficial results.
As of midnight Tuesday, Lehigh County was reporting incomplete results, including 159 of 161 Election Day precincts’ votes cast. Early Wednesday morning, the county reported all 161 precincts’ votes plus additional mail-in ballots tallied, still unofficial pending certification.
Easton and Quakertown have been designated as Keystone Communities Main Streets, allowing for funding that supports targeted investment and development to address community needs.
