Sara Grasso to Direct Homeless Services at New Beginnings

Earlier in her career, Grasso worked in clinical and program management positions with local community partners, such as the Salvation Army Hospitality House, Council on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse (CADA), Phoenix of Santa Barbara, and Family Service Agency.
“I have long enjoyed working in partnership with Sara throughout the years and was thrilled to have the opportunity for her to become a direct member of our team. She is perfect for the job and will serve our clients well,” said Kristine Schwarz, New Beginnings executive director.

CCP s tuition-based preschool lost significant revenue to COVID-19 mandates. After a forced three-month closure, the preschool was subject to mandatory enrollment caps when the center reopened in June 2020.
Today, with the rise in vaccinations and significantly reduced numbers of infected people, CCP is getting back to normal operations with some continued health and safety protections in place. The Women s Fund grant will allow CCP to recuperate some of the losses due to COVID restrictions, and to support incoming families in the fall.
