A daytime village will be set up on Cowes Parade. The car park there closes on Monday 26, July for a fortnight, to make space for stalls and spectators. There are stages too, with mainly acoustic music in Cowes Yacht Haven and host of Isle of Wight bands on the Parade. Entertainment starts on Friday, July 30, with a opening night party courtesy of 30Ten. Derek Sandy, Beth Berry, Lucid and JC Grimshaw will be among the familiar names taking a turn. The opportunity to compete in the School Vegetable Garden Competition paired perfectly with Brunswick School s prior knowledge and space for growing outdoors. Visalia Unified School District has already started working on some details for the upcoming school year by reaching out to parents and students for feedback regarding their learning preferences. For the 2021-22 school year, students have the option to return to full-time, in-person instruction or full-time, distance learning. The school district reported that as of the April 27 board meeting 20% of those who had completed the survey were interested in having their children continue learning from home. ....
