End of EOHU mass clinics Aug. 27 leaves 16K requiring re-booked appointments

Anyone with a second-dose appointment date on or after Aug. 28 is being asked to reschedule their appointment to a date before then, as there should be enough available appointments and vaccine supply prior to that date to accommodate them. In that column, I argued the new park should be unique, whimsical, and inspire visitors to take an Instagram-worthy picture of the park to show how great Cornwall is for families. The park should have a play structure no other city has. It should provide adventurous play opportunities for children of all physical abilities.
The city should consider it a generational gift to children.
City council was convinced by the argument. When the original request for proposal came to council for approval, including a standard play structure at a price tag of $100,000, council sent it back to administration. Council added an extra $50,000 to the budget for “wow-worthy” equipment and to make the park accessible to all children, regardless of differences in mobility. ....
