Indiana, PA / WDAD AM1450 & 100.3FM Dec 28, 2020 11:17 AM Indiana Borough Police have charged two people with breaking into a business in Indiana Borough on Christmas Eve Police say that on December 24 th, they had two burglar alarm activations at the Top Shelf tobacco shop in the 800 block of Wayne Avenue. At 5:52 AM, police did not find anyone inside or around the business, but they did find an exterior window open. A second alarm went off an hour later. The owner of the business gave police access to interior video surveillance and found two men, later identified as 21-year-old Bailey Charles Edwards of Indiana and 20-year-old Jacob Alan Lawson of Blairsville, inside the store actively committing the burglary. The suspects fled the scene before police got there, but they were found nearby and taken into custody. IUP Police assisted with the investigation. ....
