HAMILTON, Bermuda, April 1, 2021 /PRNewswire/ The Bermuda Tourism Authority has today announced the appointment of Bermudian Charles H. Jeffers II, to the post of Chief Executive Officer. Jeffers, a twenty- six-year veteran of the destination marketing industry, was hired through a global search to fill the leadership role left vacant following Kevin Dallas departure in February 2020.

Charles Jeffers joins the Bermuda Tourism Authority ending his tenure as Chief Operating Officer at Visit Baltimore, the official destination management organisation (DMO) for Baltimore, Maryland. He was responsible for day-to-day operations, including HR, finance, IT, research, membership, and the Visitor Centre at the tourism body, which in 2019, welcomed 27 million visitors, generating $6 billion in economic impact. ....

The Bermuda Tourism Authority has appointed Douglas Trueblood as the new BTA’s Chief Sales & Marketing Officer.
A spokesperson said, “The Bermuda Tourism Authority announced Douglas Trueblood today as the organisation’s next Chief Sales and Marketing Officer [CSMO], filling a key post left vacant November 30, 2020.
“Trueblood, a veteran marketing leader with diverse global experience in high profile hospitality brands, is slated to begin his duties with the organisation, February 1, 2021.”
