Project Overview and Role:
The Pacific Labour Facility (PLF) facilitates seasonal and longer-term work opportunities for Pacific workers in Australia. It connects Australian employers with Pacific workers, supports the administration of the Pacific Labour Scheme and provides targeted support to the Seasonal Worker Programme.
This is a 12-month Fixed Term full time position. The Pacific Labour Mobility (PLM) Coordinator will be the Pacific Labour Facility primary representative in relation to the recommencement of Pacific labour mobility in September 2020, following its temporary cessation due to COVID in 2020.
The PLM Coordinator will ensure that relevant stakeholders (internal and external) are kept updated with accurate and timely information. The position will seek to document existing processes and identify possible efficiencies for recommendation. ....

Nature of the consultancy: To conduct the sensitive gender needs assessment and develop the Tuvalu Reintegration Strategy
Objective of consultancy:
The work will be under the overall supervision of the Chief of Mission in Australia, and the direct supervision of the Project Development Officer. The successful candidate will be responsible for liaison with the Government of Tuvalu (GoT) and stakeholders to successfully carry out the gender needs assessment and the development of the Reintegration Strategy for Tuvalu.
