Prince Harry is reportedly turned down Prince Charles’s request to have a private conversation when he was in the UK for Prince Philip’s funeral.
According to
Daily Mirror editor Russell Myers, there were many in the palace, including Charles, who wanted to end their rift with Harry.
However, due to the Duke of Sussex s tight schedule, he had to fly back to the US to his pregnant wife Meghan Markle.
Whilst he was over here, he didn t have a chance to have a face-to-face with his father Charles, he said. ....

Mild bitching about the Olympics is no more surprising than complaining about the weather. However, with reports of costs exceeding their £9.3bn budget, forced evictions and sponsors using sweatshop labour or having links to environmental disasters, some Londoners are taking a more serious view. In February, Mark Ronson and Katy B turned up in Hackney Wick, east London, for the unveiling of a Coca-Cola-sponsored Olympics mural. Three days later, it was vandalised. “I was on my way to work a couple of mornings after the mural was finished and there were two guys on the street in their pyjamas throwing paint at it,” a woman who lives nearby said. ....

On April 8, when Twitter launched the Milk Tea Alliance emoji, it hinted at the significance of the growing student participation in Asia’s pro-democratic political movements. Over the past year, various demonstrations against creeping authoritarianism across the region have shown how young people have emerged as an important force in protecting their fragile democracies. These protests have also debunked the myth that young people are oblivious to political developments in their countries. Meanwhile, through their brutal use of force against the students, the governments, too, have tacitly confirmed this fact. One example of this comes from the ongoing civilian protest against the Tatmadaw, Myanmar’s military, by the country’s youth.  ....

Early in the life of the Center for the Prevention and Treatment of Child Sexual Abuse (CPTCSA), a nongovernment organization that has been working towards a safe world for children free from sexual abuse and exploitation for 25 years, we realized that the best way to prevent sexual abuse is to support our children, especially boys today, so that they do not become offenders tomorrow.
There are many aspects to this work, but what we are sharing here are some of the important insights from young men who were incarcerated for sexual offenses that they committed while still minors. A research on boys and sexual violence done by CPTCSA with the London-based Family for Every Child (FEC) global alliance that was published in 2020 included 79 participants (parents, boys from the general population, victimized boys, and young men in prison for sexual offens ....
