As of Tuesday, 261,814 residents, or about 43% of Brevard s population, have received at least one dose of a vaccine. Of that sum, 213,934 residents, or about 35% of the county population, have completed all recommended doses of their versions of the vaccine. According to the DOH, Brevard s population is 611,202 people. The county added 64 new COVID-19 cases Tuesday and no new deaths to its cumulative totals since the pandemic began in March 2020. A total of 42,294 cases have now been confirmed in the county. Of those, 41,559 are Florida residents and 735 are not. The death toll was listed at 881 Tuesday. ....

Reserve Citizen Airmen from the 943rd Rescue Group successfully completed training scenarios that incorporated highly mobile, temporary facilities in remote, austere locations while still performing combat search and rescue operations from 30 April through 3 May. As of Sunday, 259,675 residents, or 42.5% of Brevard s population, have received at least one dose of a vaccine. Of that sum, 210,850 residents, or 34.5% of the county population, have completed all recommended doses of their versions of the vaccine. According to the DOH, Brevard s population is 611,202 people. The county added 44 new COVID-19 cases Sunday and no new deaths to its cumulative totals since the pandemic was declared in March 2020. A total of 42,237 cases have now been confirmed in the county. Of those, 41,503 are Florida residents and 734 are not. The death toll was listed at 880 Sunday, one fewer than Saturday s report. ....
