The board that has verified the way of reporting COVID-19 deaths in Romania recommends updating the data on the Corona-Forms platform, Health Minister Ioana Mihaila said on Thursday, agerpres reports.
She told a news briefing that the Corona-Forms platform is the source of daily information communicated publicly by the Strategic Communication Group, the official novel coronavirus communication task force. All the information regarding the deceased persons that was communicated from the National Centre for Intervention Management and Coordination (CNCCI) was based on precisely this information from the Corona-Forms platform validated by the National Centre for Surveillance and Control of Communicable Diseases (CNSCBT), said the minister.

Lamar Soutter Library contract as NIH regional medical library renewed for fifth time

For the fifth consecutive time, the National Institutes of Health’s National Library of Medicine has selected the Lamar Soutter Library to serve as a regional medical library for an area that now includes New York as well as New England. The library will receive $8.3 million to increase awareness, facilitate access and provide training on NLM programs and services to double the number of health professionals and consumers served by previous contracts.
In its role as a National Institutes of Health regional medical library, the Lamar Soutter Library held a symposium on graphic medicine, the use of comics to tell personal stories of illness and health.
