Amarillo Globe-News I see Ginger Nelson has jump started her re-election campaign to gather support to vote for her in May. So, here I am, with my jump start campaign to gather support to not vote for her in May. She needs to be replaced. My reasoning: I do not believe she cares about the Common Citizens of Amarillo. My proof of this claim: When she came into office as our Mayor she has systematically eliminated public City Council meeting contact with common, not wealthy, residents of Amarillo. Mayor Ginger Nelson, in my opinion, wants to be our mayor to accomplish her agenda (agendas are a good thing) without having to mess with her constituents forcing her to hear what their voices have to say about how Amarillo is run. Our mayor can cut the stuff about using COVID-19 as the excuse for not having meetings because if the president of America can have public meetings, our City Council leaders can also have public meetings. The month of May can change hearing poor people ....
