(MENAFN - NewsBytes) Union Home Affairs Minister Amit Shah on Saturday said statehood will be granted back to Jammu & Kashmir at an appropriate time, during a discussion on the Jammu & Kashmir Reorganization (Amendment) Bill, 2021, in Lok Sabha.

Havelock North, as it began to grow in population during the 1960s, struggled with finding a suitable area for a rubbish dump.
Jeff Whittaker – Havelock North Borough councillor from 1965 to 1974, then mayor from 1974 until 1983, remembers various attempts to find a suitable area for the good villagers to dispose of their trash.
When Ron Nilsson was Havelock North mayor during 1965, an area was proposed in Awarua Crescent (which means ditch in Maori) where there was a sizable dip into which rubbish could be offloaded. ....

A probe into Crown Resorts has recommended the embattled gaming giant should be denied a Sydney casino licence, in a crippling blow to its A$2.2 billion ($2.3b) Barangaroo project.
The NSW Independent Liquor and Gaming Authority (ILGA) in its report tabled to the state parliament says Crown Sydney s casino licence should be revoked after revelations of illegal money laundering within its Melbourne and Perth venues.
ILGA s report said the James Packer-backed casino was not a suitable licensee holder within the state. ....
