It happened between KY 124 and KY 128, with Trigg County Sheriff’s Major Mike Sandbrink saying the tractor-trailer ran off the road and overturned. Governor Andy Beshear reported 587 new cases of COVID-19 Saturday in Kentucky. There were also eight new deaths and 12 deaths found in the ongoing audit of the state reporting system. Kentucky’s pandemic death toll now stands at 6,149. The positivity rate ticked up again to an even 3 percent. Hospitalizations fell to 368, 89 Kentuckians are in the ICU and 50 are on a ventilator. Hopkinsville, KY, USA / WHOP 1230 AM | News Radio Apr 3, 2021 3:26 AM An arrest has been made in connection with the murder of a Hopkinsville man early Saturday morning on College Street. As previously reported, Hopkinsville police responded to 1504 College a few minutes before 1 a.m. and found 33-year old Anthony Johnson of Waddell Circle with a gunshot wound to the neck. He was transported by EMS to Jennie Stuart Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead by Christian County Coroner Scott Daniel. An arrest citation for 25-year old Kachelle Isbell of Hopkinsville says she was at the scene with a .38 caliber pistol when police arrived and she allegedly admitted to shooting Johnson, who was her ex-boyfirend. ....
