Barnesville man arrested for child porn charge | News, Sports, Jobs


BARNESVILLE A local man is accused of sharing child pornography.
On Tuesday, Barnesville police arrested Christopher Angle, 41, for allegedly possessing and sharing a media file that reportedly shows sexual acts involving two girls, who investigators believe are possibly 10 or 11 years old.
“We were notified by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. They monitor internet traffic and sometimes come across where people are viewing or sharing files that contain underage porn,” village Police Chief Rocky Sirianni said. “They made us aware of this, gave us some information on the possible suspect. We talked to the suspect and he ended up confessing to possessing and sharing files of that nature.” ....

An organization based in Bowerston that trained service dogs for veterans has lost its nonprofit status and is the subject of several complaints filed with the Ohio Attorney General s Office.

Dogs for Warriors lost its tax-exempt status in 2019 after failing to file returns with the Internal Revenue Service for three years. In 2015, the last year for which the organization filed, it reported revenue of $80,351 and expenses of $98,555 on Form 990. ....
