A MAN suffered a fractured skull after being hit with a hammer in a terrifying burglary in which jewellery and a luxury car was stolen.
Three men carrying knives and a hammer entered a home on Brown Birks Road in Huncoat at around 7.45pm yesterday, before attacking a man in his 20s.
The thugs took jewellery and made off in the man’s car, a blue BMW M40i with the registration plate NL67 BVA.
The victim sustained a number of skull fractures and was taken to Royal Blackburn Hospital before being transferred to Royal Preston Hospital for treatment. ....
