The demolition of a Carlisle City Centre building means that a number of roads will have to close until October.
In a notice served by Cumbria County Council, in order to allow Align Property Partners Ltd to carry out works to demolish Paton House, all traffic (i.e. vehicles, pedestrians and cyclists) will be prohibited from proceeding along the following lengths of road:
1. Backhouses Walk, Carlisle from its junction with Bush Brow extending in a north westerly direction for approx. 80m
2. The entire length of Bush Brow, Carlisle from its junction with Borough Street to its junction with Victoria Viaduct. ....
