Four granted bail over threat of death, trespassing on a land

Four persons have been granted a GH¢10,000.00 bail with two sureties each by an Accra Circuit Court over the threat of death and trespass on a land they were prohibited from by Land Commission.
The Court, ordered Matthew Abosti Addie, Peter Abotsi Addie, Emmanuel Amo and George Nuadeke to report to the Krokrobite Police Station every Friday at 1000hours, adding that if bail conditions were not conformed to, the bail would be withdrawn.
It also ordered the sureties to deposit two passport pictures each with the Court’s registry.
The four pleaded not guilty to conspiracy to commit crime – threat of death and trespassing. ....

NAM 1's Brother Fails To Continue Family Tradition As He Gets Arrested For Fraud

Reports circulating indicates that Nana Appiah Mensah’s chief supporter, Stanley Mensah Kodia has been arrested over fraud.
The report by mynewsgh indicates that the Ghanaian born British soldier has been arrested by the Property Fraud Unit of the Ghana Police Service.
The suspect was picked up on Wednesday, January 13, 2021, by police investigators after an official complaint was lodged at the unit by a businessman and an Estate Developer over the conduct of the suspect.
According to the facts of the case, the suspect and his father one Nii Okpoti Kodua in November 2015 sold 20 plots of land to the complainant at Oyarifa Gravel Pit in the Greater Accra Region. ....

A Chinese businessman, who has invested in Ghana, has appealed to the police to expedite investigation into a case of assault on him.
Zhen Jing Yu, 51, said he was attacked on a land leased to him for $20 million at Teacher Mante, Nsawam in the Eastern Region.
The victim told the Ghanaian Times that he was beaten up by a man for stopping him (the man) from trespassing on his land.
Mr Yu, who has invested in the One District One Factory (1D1F), said that he lodged a complaint with the Teacher Mante Police Station over the assault on him. ....

The activities of sand winners in the Teacher Mante area of the Eastern Region in relation to the gathering and carrying away of parts of the solid earth such as sand and gravel as raw material for construction of roads and buildings is becoming a nuisance in the area.

Impudent and brazen-faced rogues allegedly beat a Chinese investor Zhen Jing Yu whose land they encroached at Teacher Mante in the Eastern Region.
The suspected landguards pounced on the Chinese investor who was in the company of his three workers and allegedly slapped him severally, pointed a gun at him and used the butt of an AK47 rifle to hit his left ear causing damage to the eardrum.
Zhen Jing Yu was allegedly dragged into his car by the landguards numbering about 20 and ordered him to leave.
The incident happened on November 18.
The victim, Zhen Jing Yu is a member of Brother Li, an investment consortium to establish a factory in line with government s One District One Factory project. ....
