Jim Abraham are renovating and expanding Howell Storage in Marion Township, Mich. The married couple acquired the former McGowan Mini Storage property at 1650 Pinckney Road last summer. In addition to capital improvements, they intend to add 50 to 70 units. Depending on township approvals, the project could be complete this fall. Built in the 1980s, the facility comprises 300 units. The Abrahams also own Abe’s Storage in Holly, Mich., and Abe’s Storage North in Grand Blanc, Mich. ....

246-unit, 4-story, storage facility proposed for Hendersonville's Signal Hill Road

A neighborhood compatibility meeting will be held Feb. 10 regarding a proposed four-story mini-warehouse facility.
North Main Street Properties of Hendersonville, owner of a 1.8-acre vacant lot at the intersection of Signal Hill and Aiken roads, and Lemart Realty applied for conditional rezoning of the property on Jan. 29. It is currently zoned low density residential. The requested change is for conditional highway business.
The 15,800-square-foot facility will house 246 rental units. A site plan hasn t been given to the city yet.
By building these mini-warehouses, the surrounding population, now and in the future, will have a close location for any storage needs, the rezoning application states. ....

Proposed Duncan Terrace apartment development clears neighborhood compatibility meeting with no opposition

A proposed 84-unit apartment development, called Duncan Terrace, off Duncan Hill Road wasn t met with any opposition during a neighborhood compatibility meeting Friday.
The city received an application for a conditional rezoning of the property from low-density residential district to planned residential development conditional zoning district in December. The request is from Bobby Funk with Mills Construction Co. in Raleigh, Green Holdings LLC and North Main Street Properties of Hendersonville LLC.
The property currently has a vacant house on it and is wooded.
Funk gave an overview of the project via Zoom at the compatibility meeting. Only one city resident commented to ask questions about the development including its impact on traffic in the area. ....

Henderson County News: Developer seeks OK for Duncan Hill Road apartments

City planners scheduled a neighborhood compatibility meeting for 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 15, in the council chambers at City Hall. Bobby Funk, Green Holdings LLC, and North Main Street Properties of Hendersonville, LLC, filed the application for the rezoning.
The property is made up of three parcels containing 8.7 acres and valued on the tax rolls at $423,300. The landowners, Green Holdings and North Main Street Properties, are controlled by the heirs of Pete Green, the longtime residential and commercial developer who died in 2010. Officers and managers are Thomas H. Ted Jacobson, Paul Bakke, the Dona B. Green Revocable Trust and the Phillip T. Green Jr. GST Family Trust, according to corporate records. ....
