The building that housed the Duck and Bunny in Fox Point has been demolished.
The Duck and Bunny was a local and national favorite since it emerged on the scene, with cupcakes, crepes, cocktails, and more in a cozy, stylish converted Colonial house.
In 2019, the Duck and Bunny announced it would be closing for “major renovations” and in July 2020 said it would be taking an extended hiatus due to coronavirus, staying the following:
The Duck & Bunny will be closed until further notice as we deal with the current health and economic climate. This includes our auxiliary space in Pawtucket. ....

John Paul Torrado, 52, of Cranston, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family during Holy Week on Wednesday, March 31, 2021. He was the beloved son of the late Martha and Luis Torrado M.D.
John Paul is survived by 5 siblings: Pilar Tasca with whom he lived following his mother’s passing in 2019, Luis and his wife Lisa, Jaqueline and her husband Jeffrey Baron M.D., Rafael and his wife Sandra, and his younger brother Alex who was selflessly devoted to him throughout his entire life.
John Paul was the loving uncle to: Eliana, Jacklyne, Christopher, and Nicholas Tasca; Stephanie, Luis C., Andrew, and Christian Torrado; Veronica and Gabriela Baron; and Sofia and Lucas Torrado; he was also the great uncle to Jack and Grace Bulman with whom he shared a very special relationship and love. Rhode Island has consistently had among the five highest infection rates in the country for most of the pandemic and the fourth-highest death rate. Last year those infection levels resulted in extensive safety measures, yet now bring reopenings of bars and indoor dining in restaurants. When you write things in your calendar, they get done!!
Delegate a time - 3x per week and make it work.

Treat your workouts with as much priority as you would a doctor’s appointment.
You wouldn’t cancel an appointment like that for some lame reason, so you need to ruthlessly protect your time when it comes to your health and fitness routine as well. ....
