Police investigate two separate fatal crashes in Virginia Beach

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. Police in Virginia Beach are investigating two deadly crashes that happened hours apart on Tuesday night.
The Virginia Beach Police Department said the first crash happened in the 400 block of Princess Anne Road just after 7 p.m. Two people were taken to the hospital, but one of them, an adult woman, succumbed to her injuries. The other patient reportedly has serious injuries.

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. Princess Anne Road in Virginia Beach is back open in both directions, hours after being shut down due to a fatal motorcycle crash.
Virginia Beach Police say the accident happened in the 1500 block of Princess Anne Road some time before 6:30 p.m. A motorcyclist was killed in the single-vehicle crash.
The road was closed in both directions as police investigated the accident scene. Officials said Princess Anne Road reopened around 10 p.m.
No one else was involved in the accident, which remains under investigation at this time.
