Justice and Correctional Services says the top learner was from KZN with an average mark of 80.6%.

More than R23 billion will be spent to fix KZN roads and infrastructure networks over the next three years.

This was announced by Premier Sihle Zikalala during his State of the Province Address in Pietermaritzburg today.
He says roads that are in a poor condition are not helping KZN’s economic growth.
We plan to create more than 230 000 work opportunities to benefit mainly young people and woman-headed families. In the next three years, we plan to upgrade 352 km of new roads from gravel to tar. ....

Yemen: IFJ calls on appeal court to reject death sentence against 4 journalists
Four journalists arrested in 2015 by Houthi forces in the Yemeni capital Sana’a will launch their appeal hearing on 28 February against a death sentence handed down after their conviction on charges of treason and espionage for foreign states. The International Federation of Journalists (IFJ) and its affiliate, the Yemeni Journalists’ Syndicate (YJS), call on the Appeal Court to uphold their appeal and reverse the sentence. UPDATED 2.03.2021 The journalists did not appear in court on 28 February . The security representative told the court that the 4 journalists will be released as part of a deal with the de facto government. The YJS and the IFJ call for the immediate release of the journalists and remind that media professionals should not be used as bargaining chips between warrying parties. ....
