Gulf Medical University’s has launched a new dual programme Doctor of Philosophy in Precision Medicine [PhD PM] by the College of Medicine and TRIPM. It has been accredited by the Commission for Academic Accreditation (CAA), Ministry of Education, Higher Education Affairs, UAE.

The main aim of the dual PhD Programme in Precision Medicine is to develop scientists and researchers with a health professional background seeking to become researchers nationally and internationally in this changing field of health care.

Precision Medicine involves the application of omics sciences and systems biology to understand the causes of patients’ disease at the molecular level and utilise the information to design targeted treatments to address that individual disease process. ....
