Construction has begun on a project to improve broadband service to 990 homes and businesses in Lambton Shores and Plympton-Wyoming.
Officials with Southwestern Integrated Fibre Technology (SWIFT), a government-funded regional initiative created by municipalities to subsidize the building of high-speed broadband networks, said Execulink Telecom has begun work on the $2.2-million project to install 50 kilometres of fibre-optic cable along the Lake Huron shoreline ....
