Antigypsyism is an especially persistent, violent, recurrent and commonplace form of racism. Deeper understanding and a more profound acknowledgement and recognition of the way antigypsyism affects the situation of Roma in today’s Europe is necessary in order to take effective measures in tackling this phenomenon.

More than 9,800 companies with French capital, on Romanian market, end-January

The number of companies with French capital in Romania has increased, with 9,847 French companies registered at the end of January this year, with a total subscribed share capital of 2.38 billion euros, said the president of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Romania (CCIR), Mihai Daraban, who met on Monday with the French ambassador in Bucharest, Laurence Auer.
The meeting was organized at the request of the Embassy of the French Republic and aimed to analyse the stage of economic cooperation between the two states, as well as to identify ways in which bilateral trade relations can be stimulated. ....
