Adirondack Thunder Will Take The Ice In October
The fans of the Adirondack Thunder have had to wait a long time to see their hockey team take the ice at the Cool Insuring Arena but today we know when that wait will come to an end. The Thunder will host the Newfoundland Growlers in their home opener of the 2021 - 2022 season on October 23rd, 2021.
Just like many teams across all sports, the Thunder opted out of the 2020 - 2021 season due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The good news is they re coming back. It s almost impossible to accurately figure out just how much the teams and athletes at the ECHL level were affected by the pandemic.
