LIBERTY Thelma J. Watterson, 94, passed away Tuesday morning, Jan. 12, 2021, at Shepherd of the Valley in Liberty.
Thelma was born on May 15, 1926, in Apollo, Pa. She was a daughter of Joseph and Hester Powell Klingensmith.
Upon graduation, she worked as a secretary in Washington , D.C., and later in Pittsburgh and Youngstown.
Thelma was a lifelong member of Christ Church Presbyterian, where she was a member of the Presbyterian Women Organization, Lydia Circle and a past deaconess. Thelma enjoyed painting, reading, sewing, golfing, and, most of all, playing cards. During her life, she enjoyed traveling to various parts of the country and visiting with family. ....
