Social protection is a core priority for WFP in Latin America and the Caribbean. As per the Regional Strategy on Social Protection, RBP focus is “Social Protection for Zero Hunger”, with four main pillars of work: shock-responsive social protection, nutrition-sensitive social protection, social protection and climate change and social protection system strengthening.
