The Chairman of Green Energy International Ltd, Operator of Otakikpo Marginal Field in OML 11, Prof Anthony Adegbulugbe was honored with the Excellent Leadership Award by the Citizenship & Leadership Training Center (CLTC), a parastatal in the Federal Ministry of Youth & Sports Development in Abuja on May 20, 2021. The center is principally a human development institution established for the training and molding of Nigerian Citizenry to become responsible and respectable citizens and leaders.

CHEYENNE, Wyo. – During a virtual press conference yesterday afternoon, Governor Mark Gordon pushed back against a possible federal ban on oil and gas leasing, citing a study, released yesterday, that said that the state could lose more than $300 million per year in tax revenue were the new presidential administration to implement such a plan.
“A federal leasing ban would be a serious threat to our state’s economy,” Governor Gordon said. “The revenue challenges that we currently face would be further exacerbated by any misguided federal policies that unfairly target states with large swaths of federal land.” ....

Governor Mark Gordon pushed back against a possible federal ban on oil and gas leasing, citing a study, released today, that said that the state could lose more than $300 million per year in tax revenue were the new presidential administration to implement such a plan.
“A federal leasing ban would be a serious threat to our state’s economy,” Gordon said. “The revenue challenges that we currently face would be further exacerbated by any misguided federal policies that unfairly target states with large swaths of federal land.”
In a study of eight Western states conducted by Dr. Timothy Considine, a Professor of Energy Economics with the University of Wyoming, the value of lost production in Wyoming under a leasing moratorium during the first five years is on average $872 million. That translates to more than $300 million per year in lost tax revenue annually, which includes severance tax, ad-valorem tax , federal royalties and lease bonus payment ....
