PLYMOUTH – If winter’s over, can summer be far behind? Time to get into swimsuit shape!
Sweat off the excess pounds from hunkering down over those cold months and COVID-19 confinement at the Fitness for the Fund fundraiser this Saturday, May 8. The Plymouth Area Chamber of Commerce and Plymouth Fitness are working together so you can work out to benefit the Plymouth One Fund.
“This is a great way to get in shape and help local businesses,” said Bob Nolet, the Chamber’s operations director. “Participants will be able to work out at Plymouth Fitness for a donation, which in turn goes to the Plymouth One Fund to help companies struggling through the tough times brought on by COVID-19.” ....

“I recommend that you act quickly,” said the executive director of the Plymouth Area Chamber of Commerce. “There is a lot less money in this round. If your business truly needs funding, if you are truly struggling, do it now.”
The U.S. Small Business Administration rolled out “PPP2” – as the plan is colloquially called – last week with $284 billion through the federal Economic Aid to Hard-Hit Small Businesses, Nonprofits, and Venues Act. That’s $65 billion less than offered in the first round last year. ....
