Billy Gibbons Preps His Third Solo Album ‘Hardware’
ZZ Top legend Billy Gibbons has given us a sampler of his third album ‘Hardware’ with a new song ‘West Coast Junkie’.
The video was filmed at Joshua Tree, California.
‘Hardware’ features song co-written and produced with Matt Sorum (Guns ‘n’ Roses), Mike Fiorentino and Chad Shlosser. The album was recorded at Escape Studio near Palm Springs in California. Billy says, “We holed up in the desert for a few weeks in the heat of the summer and that in itself was pretty intense. To let off steam we just ‘let it rock’ and that’s what Hardware is really all about. For the most part, it’s a raging rocker but always mindful of the desert’s implicit mystery.” ....

Lewis & Clark Tap Room brings back live music and plans expanded venue

Music is roaring back at the Lewis & Clark Tap Room, starting in April.
Not only are some of your favorite music acts back on stage, but so are some local music festivalsÂ â plus a new one â Wake the Giant Music Revival.
And, thereâs more good news for âlive musicâ lovers.
The Tap Room will be expanding its indoor venue area, growing from 250-occupancy to about 500, said Lewis & Clark Brewing Company owner Max Pigman.
The remodel will add a larger stage area, a larger audience area with better visibility and an upgraded sound system.

Local Scene: Lemmon ready to squeeze back into local music scene

Spring is upon us and it s finally time to get things blooming again in the world of entertainment locally and elsewhere. The year 2020 was a lemon and the old adage when that happens, is to make lemonade. One ready to squeeze back into the local scene is singer/songwriter Dan Lemmon, who reboots his musical projects today April 1.
Four Magellanic penguin chicks, hatched in May, toured the Shedd Aquarium s Oceanarium section to become familiar with the sights, sounds and smells, staff said. Video provided by aquarium staff.
The Lemmon Brothers Band is pleased some venues are starting to have live entertainment again, said Lemmon.
