Daniel Gabriel, age 66, of Merrill, died on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at Pine Crest Nursing Home, after a long battle with MS.  He was under the care of the staff at Pine Crest Nursing Home and Aspirus Comfort Care & Hospice Services.  Dan was born on July 27, 1954 to the late Clarence and Magdeline (Dallman) Gabriel in Antigo, WI.  He attended and graduated from Antigo High School and received his degree in Pharmacy at UW-Madison.  Dan was a pharmacist in New Richmond, WI, then at Ascension Good Samaritan Hospital in Merrill, before MS complications forced his retirement.  Dan was a huge Wisconsin sports fan, whether it was the Packers, Brewers, Badgers or the Bucks, he watched and loved them all!  In his early years, Dan enjoyed playing softball and basketball, and playing cards.  More recently, he looked forward to joining all the social a ....
