Yvonne Marie Kanz


Yvonne Marie Kanz, age 52, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on May 28th, 2021,   following a long and courageous battle with breast cancer. During this time, her faith never wavered as she knew the Lord was always in control.  She departed this earth peacefully with her family by her side holding her hands and reading her cherished scriptures aloud. 
Yvonne was born to Nathan and Geraldine Hanz (nee Hansmann) on March 30th, 1969, at McKenna Memorial Hospital and remained a resident of New Braunfels, Texas all her life. Yvonne was preceded in death by her parents, and her grandparents, Walter and Edie Hanz and Christ and Mary Hansmann.  Survivors include her beloved children Zach and Zaina, and their father Todd Kanz, sister DeAnn Tews (nee Hanz) and husband Daniel, and their children, Josh, Caleb and Moriah, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews and friends to cherish her memory. ....

Eusebia R. Moreno, a life-long resident of New Braunfels, passed away on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at Christus Santa Rosa Hospital-Westover Hills in San Antonio, at the age of 84.  Eusebia was born on December 15, 1936 in New Braunfels to the late Teofilo Rodriguez & Quiteria De La Cruz.  Mrs. Moreno was a cook and retired from McKenna Memorial Hospital after 26 years of dedicated service.  She was preceded in death by her parents Teofilo Rodriguez & Quiteria De La Cruz; her beloved husband, Faustino F. Moreno, who passed away May 30, 1972; two sisters and four brothers.  Survivors include her children, Andrea Carrizales (Raul, Jr.), Gloria Torres (Richard), Mary Granger (Donald), Ernesto Moreno (Hope) and Lucia DeLeon (Leonardo); 8 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.  Our mother was a very loving, caring & forgiving woman. Barbara Marilyn Hartigan


On Saturday, April 24th, Barbara Marilyn Hartigan, known affectionately as ”Barb” to her husband Joe, went to her heavenly home at the age of 82.
Barbara was born December 4th, 1938 in Blanco, Texas to Frank and Audrey Weber. When Barbara was around age 4, Frank and Audrey moved their family to New Braunfels where she lived her entire life. She attended elementary school at Sts. Peter and Paul thru 8th grade and graduated from New Braunfels High School in 1957. She graduated from Southwest Texas State University in 1983 where she obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Records Administration.
Barbara married her high school sweetheart, Joseph Thomas Hartigan Jr. in 1956 in New Braunfels, Texas. They were blessed with a son, Joseph Paul Hartigan, called “Josie” by his mom. Barbara’s world was lovingly centered around these two special men in her life - her husband and her son. Barbara spent her entire career in the medical profession. She ....
