Construction work on the GSE Group-led project is anticipated to begin in April, with completion expected in February 2022.
Although bosses are yet to reveal the name of the operator, Amazon has been rumoured and has long been linked with Ashford after a leaked ABC document in 2014 seemed to confirm it was coming to the town.

A long-mooted multi-billion-pound theme park faces a new and unlikely foe - a rare jumping spider.
It is one of hundreds of at risk species whose habitat is threatened by London Resort, set to be open by 2024 on the Swanscombe Peninsula, between Dartford and Gravesend - and now conservationists have lodged an application with the government to protect the site.

The charitable foundation behind Maidstone's Leeds Castle has appointed its new chief executive.
Helen Bonser-Wilton will take over the reins at the Leeds Castle Foundation from Sir David Steel who led the team for five years before being appointed by the Queen as Governor of Gibraltar.
Helen Bonser Wilton is the new chief executive of the Leeds Castle Foundation
Currently the chief executive of the Mary Rose Trust in Portsmouth, she will take over the job in March.
It will certainly be a baptism of fire in the new role with the venue hit hard by the pandemic which has forced it to close its doors to visitors for much of 2020 and must limit the numbers accessing its grounds.
