ISLAMABAD: As many as 25 students fell unconscious due to prolonged load shedding at a government school located in Malpur area of Islamabad, ARY News reported on Wednesday.

As per the school administration, the electricity supply at the school was suspended since the morning and despite being informed, the WAPDA did not bother to restore the supply.
Feeling the heat, the students started to dehydrate and fell unconscious. The school administration said the children started bleeding from the nose due to hot weather. The students have been admitted to a nearby hospital. ....

Power Generation From Tarbela and Mangla Dams Reduces Massively
Power generation from the Tarbela and Mangla dams has been reduced by 3300 MW, while Pakistan’s total electricity demand is currently 24,100 MW.
According to the spokesperson for the Ministry of Energy, the power shortfall today is 1500 MW. The power generated by the system is 22,600 MW, and power generation will be restored within a few days.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Indus River System Authority said water inflow in the rivers has jumped to 289,500 cusecs due to shooting up mercury at Skardu.
The spokesperson of IRSA in a statement today (Saturday) said 19,500 cusecs water inflow increase was recorded today as compared to yesterday.
He said the water levels in the both Tarbela and Mangla dams jumped to three and two feet respectively.
The Spokesman said 111,000 feet increase was recorded in water storage capacity.
He said owing to the healthy inflow, water share of Sindh and Punjab has further been increased. ....
