– For decades, the churches in Muslim-majority Indonesia have faced challenges in obtaining a building permit (IMB), thanks to a decree issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Ministry of Religious Affairs in 2006.
The decree, which has been unfairly used to prevent the construction of churches and other religious minority premises, regulates that religious leaders should provide the signatures of 90 followers as well as signed support from at least 60 local residents. The building of a new church or other places of worship also needs approval from the village heads. ....

02/24/2021 Armenia (International Christian Concern) –  The location and details of the Grey Wolf school opening in Shushi, Nagorno-Karabakh have been released. Turkish President Erdogan and Azerbaijani President Aliyev will jointly attend the school groundbreaking. Shushi is one of the Armenian territories given to Azerbaijan in the negotiations following the Nagorno-Karabakh War (
Armenian: Artsakh).
Armenians are immensely concerned about the school’s opening, considering its origin in the Grey Wolves. The Grey Wolves is a national, extremist pan-Turkism group with political affiliates to Turkey’s National Movement Party (MHP). MHP leader Devlet Bahceli proposed the building of the school at a meeting in late January during a meeting with Azerbaijan leadership as part of their initiative to rebuild and recreate the Shushi region in Azeri fashion.  (International Christian Concern) – According to The Morning Star News, Fulani herdsmen shot and killed 65-year-old Mati Sani, a lay-leader of Evangelical Church Winning All (ECWA) and abducted three Christians while hospitalizing another. The attack occurred in Kankara County, Katsina state, in the early morning hours of February 16
th.
Mati Sani’s son, Reverend Ali Mati, was paraphrased in a Morning Star News report: “’Fulani Bandits’ also abducted Ibrahim Lawal, Mamar Rahila and Hafsat Yusuf, besides shooting and wounding Danjuma Sani Mati, who was receiving treatment at the Federal Medical Center in the city of Katsina. The victims are all Christians who are related to each other” said Mati. ....
