That’s because the Nessias race sled dogs, and after a season of canceled races due to COVID-19 and a recent cancellation due to lack of snow, they’re hoping to get their dogs back in competition next winter. Last year, Bonnie Nessia and a Howlin’ Harmony Huskies four-dog team finished first for the fourth year in a row in the 4.5-mile class at the 2020 Tug Hill Challenge in Mannsville.
