San Bernardino County investigators seized 5,186 cannabis plants from eight outdoor grow sites and arrested one man a 37-year-old resident of Mexico between Victorville and Barstow.
Sheriff’s deputies and Marijuana Enforcement Team investigators served search warrants on Friday morning at eight locations they said were being used to illegally grow cannabis, according to a sheriff’s press release. The locations weren’t marked with addresses or homes and are in the area of Bonanza Trail and Palomino Road, the department said.
According to Google Maps, this places the grow sites west of Interstate 15 around the highway’s midway point between Barstow and Victorville. That s near Wild Wash, a distributary of the Mojave River.
