McDONOUGH â The Henry County Police Department honored the memory and service of Sgt. David Crumpler with a memorial service Friday morning. Crumpler, 60, died from COVID-19 on Jan. 7. He served the Henry County community for 26 years, holding many titles and participating in criminal investigations, bomb squad and SWAT Team. HCPD officials called him a gentleman, teacher and sprinkle-loving, joy-filled servant. Henry County Police Chief Mark Amerman memorialized Crumplerâs dedicated service and lasting legacy in the department. He is survived by his children, Caleb, Myles, Justyne Lobello, Lara Hercules; grandchild, Kevin Lobello; mother, Marilyn Crumpler; and brother, Michael Crumpler. Recommended for you ....
