The city of Mountain Brook has become the first in Alabama to achieve Green Zone certification for four public areas of the city after replacing much of its gas-powered maintenance equipment with battery/electric or manual tools. The bill first introduced by State Representative David Faulkner would allow the city to establish entertainment districts passed in the Alabama House of Representatives.
