KAFF News Authorities Arrest Kidnapping Suspect South Of Flagstaff Tuesday Authorities arrested a kidnapping suspect south of Flagstaff Tuesday. Coconino County Sheriff’s deputies were attempting to find a male suspect and a female victim, who was reportedly forced into a vehicle along Interstate-17 in the late morning hours. At around noon, CCSO received a call from the Mustang Gas Station in Clints Well along Highway 87, reporting the vehicle from the incident on I-17 was in the area. The caller told officials a female passenger was seen strapped, or tied, to the front passenger seat in a white-colored four-door Jeep Wrangler. The caller followed the Jeep to a forest service road. Deputies from Coconino and Navajo counties, as well as a DPS helicopter, looked for the vehicle, which was found later in the evening.
