Ken Gordon, D–Bedford, and his colleagues in the state House of Representatives passed the Fiscal Year 2022 (FY22) budget on Thursday, March 29. The $47.7 billion budget includes significant investments in education, supportive services for vulnerable populations, MassHealth, and economic development, in addition to local funding for the towns of Burlington and Bedford. “This budget is the result of hard work and collaboration between lawmakers and residents,” Gordon said. “I am especially proud of the significant investments in our schools, which addresses the toll that this year has taken on the mental health, well-being, and academic success of students here in the Commonwealth.
