Protesters gathered outside the factory on Greenacres Road, Waterhead
An Oldham factory was targeted by protesters yesterday, who say the manufacturer produces parts for military drones which have been used against Palestinians in Gaza.
Elbit Systems is an Israel-based international defence electronics company engaged in a wide range of programmes throughout the world.
Elbit Systems owns Ferranti Technologies based in Cairo House in Waterhead.  Campaigners say that the Oldham factory is just one part of Britain’s military support for Israel.
Yesterday, a number of protesters gathered outside the factory displaying banners, and holding candles as part of a winter peace vigil ....
