State Supreme Court hears arguments for lower sentences for juveniles convicted of murder

The New Hampshire Supreme Court is considering how long a juvenile who commits a heinous crime can be sentenced to prison.
Oral arguments were heard Thursday in the cases of two murderers who committed those crimes when they were 17.
The lawyer for Eduardo Lopez and Robert Dingman said he s not arguing that his clients have a right to be released, but rather that they must have a chance at parole at an age when they can still have a meaningful life. ....
