The coronavirus pandemic has brought about a host of problems for many businesses, but almost none more than the live-performance industry. With large gatherings limited or prohibited for the last 10 months and no end in sight, theater venues across Wisconsin have relied heavily on donor support and state and federal funds to survive.

After a sellout performance in 2019, singer and playwright Lisa Rock and her 6-piece band return to The Grand Oshkosh. This time, they are keeping The Carpenters’ holiday traditions alive with spot-on renditions of their unforgettable Christmas tunes. Based on the music of The Carpenters’ two holiday albums and Christmas variety shows, A Carpenters Christmas and featuring “Merry Christmas Darling” and the jazzy “Santa Claus is Comin’ to Town,” it’s a holiday concert that spreads joy and cheer to all. The Grand Oshkosh to Upgrade Marquee Signage

OSHKOSH, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) The Grand Oshkosh announced an upgrade coming to the 137-year-old theatre.
In the coming months, The Grand will receive a makeover of its marquee, restoration of a blade sign which has not appeared on the building since the 1920s, and upgrade of its message center to a state-of-the-art electronic sign.
The project is funded through the first of several “branding licenses,” and will be known as the Festival Foods Marquee.
