Burlington man indicted for murder in shooting incident

KEYSER - A Burlington man who was shot when he reportedly pulled a gun on a Mineral County Sheriff’s Deputy last August as the deputy attempted to serve a warrant has been indicted for attempted murder.
Logan Adam Bowman, 2266 Northwestern Turnpike, Burlington, was indicted by a Mineral County Grand Jury Tuesday on three counts of attempted murder, three counts of wanton endangerment involving a firearm, one count of a prohibited person possessing a firearm and one misdemeanor of trespassing on property with a firearm.
According to police reports, deputies on patrol in the West End of Keyser on a Friday evening in August 2020 had stopped a subject trespassing on CSX property near Vernon Street. As the deputies spoke with the subject, a second subject, later identified as Bowman, was located and determined to have had outstanding warrants from Grant County. ....
