Islamabad April 8, 2021 Islamabad : The representatives of the countrywide private educational institutions along with teachers and staff members will march on D-Chowk here this morning (Thursday) against the government s restriction on in-person classes. According to All Pakistan Private Schools and Colleges Association central president Malik Abrar Hussain, the march participants will reach D-Chowk at 11am using their respective routes. They will include students and their parents, traders, civil society members, school van owners and drivers and stationery dealers. He told reporters here that the prolonged closure of private schools’ by the government had forced their representatives and other stakeholders to take to the streets to claim the rights. ....

Construction stopped a few years ago, and the man in charge of the project, Malik Abdulnoor has been ghosting the township supervisor ever since. âThey wonât return calls. Cleanup of half-built hotels near West Michigan mall being pursued by township officials Updated 12:35 PM; MUSKEGON COUNTY, MI – Now that it has an enforceable blight ordinance, Fruitport Township is demanding action from the owner of two half-built and deteriorating hotels. Township Supervisor Todd Dunham said the owner of the hotels, Stellar Hospitality of Auburn Hills, recently was informed it was in violation of the ordinance and given 10 days to reply with its plans for the neighboring hotel structures. The owner must respond by this week or legal action will be pursued, Dunham told MLive. “They don’t call me back. They won’t talk to me,” Dunham said. ....
Cycles left behind by migrant labourers during lockdown are now available to riders for free NEW DELHI: Bijnor, a small city in Uttar Pradesh, has set an example of how bicycle sharing can be rolled out with little investment at a time when several big cities are struggling to start such initiatives. The “Bikes of Bijnor” scheme utilised 100 refurbished bicycles left behind by migrant labourers, which would have become junk by now. This experiment in the past one month involving government officers and civil society has received appreciation from central government agencies and even Union road transport minister Nitin Gadkari. He pointed out in Parliament that this was an affordable model to promote non-motorised transport in urban areas. These bicycles are currently available to riders without any charge but soon users would have to pay a token Rs 5 for a four-hour ride and Rs 10 for 12 hours. ....
