Mr Glover, who died on Sunday after a brave battle with illness, had a long association with Carrick Rangers.
Paying tribute on social media, a spokesperson for the Taylors Avenue club said: “Jackie was an important member of a dedicated match day team who provided support to the club at fixtures both home and away.
“His role as chief steward played a pivotal role in making sure things went smoothly on match days and provided assistance to visiting fans.
“Jackie will be sorely missed and our thoughts and condolences go to Janet and the entire family circle at this sad time.” ....
